1 sleeve of saltine or graham crackers
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup crushed graham crackers (for topping, optional)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lay crackers in a single layer.
In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir constantly until bubbly (about 2–3 minutes).
Pour the caramel over the crackers and spread evenly.
Bake for 5 minutes – it will bubble! Remove from oven.
Sprinkle marshmallows and chocolate chips evenly over hot caramel.
Return to oven for 2–3 minutes until melted. Use a spatula to gently press down.
Top with crushed graham crackers if desired. Cool completely and break into pieces.
