Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve of saltine or graham crackers

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lay crackers in a single layer.

  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir constantly until bubbly (about 2–3 minutes).

  3. Pour the caramel over the crackers and spread evenly.

  4. Bake for 5 minutes – it will bubble! Remove from oven.

  5. Sprinkle marshmallows and chocolate chips evenly over hot caramel.

  6. Return to oven for 2–3 minutes until melted. Use a spatula to gently press down.

  7. Top with crushed graham crackers if desired. Cool completely and break into pieces.
