  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 1/4 cups crushed pretzels

  • 1 cup caramel bits or chopped soft caramels

  • Optional: flaky sea salt for topping

  • In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to the wet mixture gradually.

  • Fold in crushed pretzels and caramel pieces.
