  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ⅓ cup white chocolate chips

  • ⅓ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 6 Oreos, chopped

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, beat butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.

  • Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.

  • Gradually mix in dry ingredients to form a dough.

  • Fold in Oreos and chocolate chips.

  • Let dough rest for 20 minutes at room temperature.

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Scoop ¼ to ⅓ cup dough portions (6 per tray) and space them out.

  • Bake for 11–12 minutes. Edges should be golden, centers soft.

  • Let cookies sit on the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Use room temperature butter for perfect texture.

  • Resting the dough helps with chewiness and flavor.

  • Don’t overbake—the center should be slightly soft.
