Slow Cooker Strawberry Applesauce

This slow cooker strawberry applesauce brings back those cozy memories. It’s easy, natural, and so comforting. Make a batch and share a spoonful of sweetness with someone you love!

Ingredients

  • 7 apples (about 34 lbs, any variety)

  • 1 lb. fresh strawberries, stems removed

  • ½ cup apple juice or water

  • Sugar to taste (optional)

Instructions

  • Peel, core, and slice apples. Add them to a 6-quart slow cooker.

  • Add strawberries and apple juice or water.

  • Cover and cook:

    • On HIGH for 5 hours

    • Or on LOW for 8 hours

  • Stir with a whisk until smooth. You can also blend it for a finer texture.

  • Taste and sweeten with sugar if needed, one tablespoon at a time.

  • Let it cool. Store in the fridge for 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
