Salted Caramel Pretzel Oreo Balls: The Ultimate Sweet & Salty Treat

Pretzel Oreo Balls

These were the star of last year’s holiday tray—and no one guessed how easy they were to make! My grandson called them “tiny chocolate treasures.” The blend of crunchy pretzels, creamy Oreo filling, and a rich chocolate shell makes these bite-sized treats absolutely unforgettable. Great for gifting or just sharing at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (36 cookies) Oreo cookies

  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels (plus extra for garnish)

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips or melting chocolate

  • Optional: sea salt for topping

Instructions

  • Crush Oreos and pretzels together in a food processor until fine crumbs form.

  • Mix with softened cream cheese until fully combined and smooth.

  • Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a lined baking sheet. Chill in freezer for 20–30 minutes.

  • Melt chocolate in the microwave or double boiler.

  • Dip each ball into melted chocolate, place back on sheet, and sprinkle with pretzel crumbs or sea salt.

  • Chill until chocolate is set (about 15 minutes).

Notes

  • No food processor? Place cookies and pretzels in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.

  • Use white chocolate for a twist!
