This creamy, fruity salad was always the highlight of our summer picnics. Aunt May brought it every 4th of July, and it disappeared faster than fireworks at dusk. It’s cool, rich, and bursting with berries—just right for celebrating with family and friends. It’s so simple, yet it brings smiles with every bite. Make it for your next BBQ or potluck and watch it vanish!
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
2 cups strawberries, quartered
1 ½ cups blueberries
1 ½ cups mini marshmallows
Optional: 1 banana, sliced (add just before serving to avoid browning)
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mix until creamy.
Fold in the whipped topping gently.
Add strawberries, blueberries, and marshmallows.
Chill for at least 1 hour before serving. Add banana slices if using, just before serving.
Use cold ingredients for the fluffiest texture.
Fold gently to keep the fruit intact and marshmallows airy.
For extra flair, top with a few whole berries and mint leaves before serving.
This salad tastes best the same day it’s made—serve it chilled!
