Peeps Pretzel Rods: A Fun and Festive Easter Treat

Growing up, Easter was all about bright colors, sweet treats, and time spent with loved ones. One of my favorite memories was making fun snacks with my family, and these Peeps Pretzel Rods bring that same joy! A perfect mix of sweet and salty, these crunchy pretzels are dipped in white chocolate, drizzled with pastel candy melts, and topped with a cute marshmallow Peep. They’re a hit with kids and adults alike! Try making these with your family and spread some Easter cheer

Ingredients

✅ 24 pretzel rods
✅ 4 cups white chocolate chips (or vanilla almond bark/white candy melts)
✅ ½ cup pink candy melts
✅ ½ cup light blue candy melts
✅ ½ cup yellow candy melts
✅ Pastel Easter sprinkles
✅ 24 Peeps bunnies (any color)

Instructions

1️⃣ Line a cookie sheet with parchment or wax paper.
2️⃣ Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
3️⃣ Pour melted white chocolate into a tall cup for easy dipping.
4️⃣ Dip each pretzel rod ¾ of the way into the white chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then place on parchment paper.
5️⃣ Melt the candy melts in separate bowls according to package instructions.
6️⃣ Transfer melted candy into ziplock or piping bags, snip a small tip, and drizzle over the white chocolate-covered pretzels.
7️⃣ Sprinkle immediately with pastel Easter sprinkles.
8️⃣ Use melted candy as ‘glue’ to attach a Peep bunny to the top of each pretzel rod.
9️⃣ Let them set at room temperature for 20 minutes before serving.
