This recipe takes me back to Sunday evenings at grandma’s house. She had a knack for mixing sweet and savory flavors just right, and this dish does exactly that. The creamy feta melts into the golden honey glaze, hugging the juicy chicken for a bite that’s pure comfort. Great for a family dinner or impressing guests. Try it once—you’ll want it again!
4 boneless chicken breasts
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
100g feta cheese, crumbled
3 tbsp honey
1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Rub chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Sear in a hot pan for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
Place in a baking dish, sprinkle feta on top.
In a small saucepan, warm honey and chili flakes just until runny.
Drizzle hot honey over chicken and bake for 20–25 minutes.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
Use a thermometer: Chicken is perfect at 165°F (74°C).
For extra heat, add a dash of cayenne to the honey.
Pairs well with roasted veggies or rice.
