  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup French fried onions
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Sear Chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt & pepper, then sear 2–3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
  3. Make Sauce: In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, milk, and French onion soup mix.
  4. Assemble: Place chicken in the baking dish. Pour sauce over it, then top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Bake Covered: Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Crisp Topping: Remove foil, sprinkle French fried onions, and bake 10–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Serve: Garnish with parsley (optional) and enjoy!

Notes

  • For Extra Flavor: Add ½ tsp garlic powder or thyme to the sauce.
  • Make It Lighter: Use low-fat cheese, milk, and reduced-sodium soup mix.
  • Sides: Pair with mashed potatoes, steamed green beans, or a fresh salad.
  • Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days (reheat in oven for best texture).
