Easter Bird Nests Cookies

These No-Bake Chocolate Bird Nests are a delightful and easy treat perfect for spring celebrations or Easter! Made with just a few simple ingredients, they’re fun to assemble and even more fun to eat. Kids and adults alike will love the combination of chocolate, peanut butter, and crispy cereal, topped with colorful mini eggs. Plus, they’re no-bake, so you can whip them up in just 10 minutes!

Ingredients

â–¢ 3 cups cocoa Rice Krispies
â–¢ 1 cup peanut butter
â–¢ 1 cup milk chocolate chips
â–¢ 36 Cadbury mini eggs (or similar candy eggs)

Instructions

  1. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals on low power, stirring between each interval until smooth.
  2. Mix Peanut Butter and Chocolate: As soon as the chocolate is melted, stir in the peanut butter until fully combined.
  3. Combine with Cereal: Pour the chocolate and peanut butter mixture over the cocoa Rice Krispies in a large bowl. Stir until the cereal is evenly coated.
  4. Prepare Muffin Tin: Lightly grease a 12-count muffin tin with butter or cooking spray.
  5. Form the Nests: Scoop the mixture evenly into the muffin tin, pressing it into the cups. Use a round measuring spoon to create a small hollow in the center of each nest.
  6. Chill: Place the muffin tin in the fridge or freezer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the nests are firm.
  7. Add the Eggs: Once hardened, place 3 Cadbury mini eggs in the center of each nest. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure the edges of the nests are high enough to hold the eggs securely.
  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate.
  • This recipe also works well in a mini muffin tin for bite-sized nests.
