Dole Whip Recipe

This Disney Dole Whip Recipe is a sweet, frosty, and refreshing fruit treat that you can easily make at home. Perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day, this copycat version brings the magic of Disney parks to your kitchen. With just a few simple ingredients and a blender, you can enjoy this iconic dessert in no time!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 big scoop vanilla ice cream (about 3/4 cup)
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional but recommended)
  • Splash of lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients:
Combine all the ingredients in a high-powered blender in the order listed. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 3 minutes. If needed, stop and push down the pineapple chunks to help them blend evenly.
  2. Freeze (Optional):
For a firmer texture, pour the mixture into a container and freeze for 30-40 minutes.
  3. Pipe and Serve:
Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a 1M “star” tip. Swirl into glasses or dessert cups.
  4. Freeze Again (Optional):
To help the soft-serve hold its shape, freeze the swirled Dole Whip for another 20 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free or vegan version, swap the vanilla ice cream with 1/3 cup of coconut milk.
  • Use frozen pineapple chunks for the best texture. If using fresh pineapple, freeze it for at least 2 hours before blending.
  • Add a splash of lemon juice to enhance the pineapple flavor and balance the sweetness.
  • To achieve the iconic Dole Whip swirl, use a piping bag with a 1M “star” tip.
  • For a fun twist, turn it into a Dole Whip Float by adding pineapple juice and a maraschino cherry on top!
