It’s a crowd-pleaser that’s both easy to make and delicious to eat. Plus, it’s versatile—you can adapt it to stovetop cooking if you’re short on time!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12 oz) bottle Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce
  • 1.5 to 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (trimmed)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese (cut into cubes)
  • ¼ cup grated or shredded parmesan cheese
  • 12 to 16 oz pasta (rotini, penne, or your choice)

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Sprinkle the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add Sauce: Pour the entire bottle of parmesan garlic sauce over the chicken.
  3. Milk Mixture: Add the milk to the empty sauce bottle, shake well, and pour it over the chicken.
  4. Cheese: Add the cream cheese cubes and grated parmesan cheese to the crockpot. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Cook: Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  6. Shred Chicken: Remove the chicken, shred it with two forks or dice it into bite-sized pieces, and return it to the crockpot.
  7. Cook Pasta: While the chicken is cooking, prepare the pasta according to package directions. Drain well.
  8. Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the crockpot and stir to coat it evenly with the sauce.

Stovetop Alternative:

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, combine the parmesan garlic sauce, milk, cream cheese, and parmesan cheese over medium heat. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add 3 cups of cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great!) and toss to coat.
  4. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve over cooked pasta and garnish with extra parmesan, red pepper flakes, or parsley.

Notes

  1. Chicken: Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs for the best results. Thighs will add extra juiciness.
  2. Pasta: Choose sturdy pasta shapes like rotini, penne, or farfalle to hold up well in the sauce.
  3. Sauce: If you can’t find Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce, substitute with a homemade garlic parmesan sauce or a similar store-bought version.
  4. Creaminess: For a thicker sauce, let the crockpot cook uncovered for the last 15-20 minutes.
  5. Leftovers: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of milk to restore creaminess.
