1.5 to 2 pounds flank steak
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1 medium onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Season the flank steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika on both sides.
Sear the steak in a hot pan with olive oil for 2-3 minutes on each side to lock in the flavor.
Place sliced onions and minced garlic at the bottom of the crockpot.
Add the seared flank steak on top.
Pour beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce over the steak.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until tender.
Slice against the grain and serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes or steamed veggies.
Always slice flank steak against the grain for the most tender bite.
Add a few mushrooms or bell peppers to the crockpot for extra flavor and veggies!
Leftovers make amazing steak sandwiches the next day.
