Whenever I needed a quick dish that felt fancy but took minutes, this roasted asparagus with Parmesan was my go-to. I still remember the crunch and the way the cheese melted just right. It’s the kind of recipe that makes dinner feel special, even on a quiet night. Try it once, and it just might become your favorite too!
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Optional: squeeze of lemon for brightness
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Spread asparagus on a baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
Sprinkle Parmesan evenly over the top.
Roast for 15–18 minutes, until the asparagus is tender and cheese is golden.
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
Don’t overcrowd the pan – spread the asparagus in a single layer.
Add lemon zest for a little zing!
