1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 cups baby potatoes, quartered
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 large foil sheets (about 12x12 inches)
Optional: ketchup, mustard, or BBQ sauce for serving
Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Divide potatoes evenly among the foil sheets.
Form 4 burger patties with the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and place one on top of each pile of potatoes.
Top each with sliced onions.
Fold foil tightly to seal packets.
Grill or bake for 25–30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and burgers are cooked through.
Carefully open packets, sprinkle with cheddar, and let melt before serving.
Add your favorite sauce if desired!
Use heavy-duty foil to prevent leaks.
Swap cheddar for mozzarella or pepper jack for a twist.
