Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese

  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Place asparagus on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.

  • Roast for 15–18 minutes, until tender and slightly crisp.

  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with crumbled bacon and blue cheese.

  • Return to oven for 2–3 minutes, just until the cheese softens.

  • Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use thick-cut bacon for a heartier bite.

  • Blue cheese can be swapped for goat cheese or feta if you prefer milder flavor.

  • Pairs beautifully with steak, chicken, or a glass of red wine.
